Eric is in the final mixing stages of Matt Johnson’s newest record, "Cavedweller," which features more great songs and some special appearances, including St. Vincent.  The record, the third of three Eric has mixed for Matt, is another brilliant showcase of Matt's evolution as a singer-songwriter and guitarist, as well continuing to showcase his his renowned drumming.    Check back soon for samples and release date.

Between 2011 and 2012, Eric produced and mixed great new releases by Houston hard-rockers Black Queen Speaks and emerging Austin singer-songwriter Caroline Calaway.

 
 
 
     
Eric was also recently elected president of the Texas Chapter of the Recording Academy after two terms as vice-president and governor.  Watch for exciting new initiatives the Texas Chapter is working on for this year.

Eric also recently appeared (acoustic guitar) on the chart-topping debut single from Karise Eden, winner of The Voice Australia.

Eric also recently completed a mix for the new EP from Nakia (Team Cee-Lo, The Voice, Season 1), which has some great songs and singing and is scheduled for a February 2013 release.

Elysian Fields also tapped Eric to mix two songs for their most recent record, "Last Night On Earth."

This Machine, featuring members of Crossing Togo, Laidlaw, Point Blank, and more, are in the throes of pre-production with Eric on a new project. This music will feature guest vocalists, including James Dylan of Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience. Look for singles to be released after the 55th GRAMMY awards in February of 2013.  

Eric continues to serve on the Producers & Engineers Committee for the Recording Academy’s Texas Chapter.
